Isobornyl Methacrylate
Isobornyl Methacrylate, or IBMA, is a bicyclic terpene-derived methacrylate monomer used to modify polymer hardness, hydrophobicity, and weather resistance. Its bulky isobornyl structure increases glass-transition temperature and reduces water absorption in cured polymer systems. The product is widely used in coatings, adhesives, optical materials, and specialty acrylic resins.
